Joe White Maltings 

Joe White Maltings  was established in the 1850s and has a long and distinguished history.  Joe White Maltings is the largest malt producer in Australia, with seven plants producing more than 550,000 tonnes per annum.   Plant locations are Perth in Western Australia, Port Adelaide and Cavan in South Australia , Devonport in Tasmania, Tamworth and  Minto in New South Wales, and a specialty malting facility in Delacombe Victoria.

Malt produced by Joe White Malting supplies brewers in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines and Malaysia, as well as Australia. Joe White Malting is Australia's No 1 exporter of malt.

In November 2013 Cargill Australia Limited acquired the Joe White Maltings business.  By combining the strengths and talents of both companies, Cargill is confident it can build on Joe White Maltings’ proud history, meet the needs of its existing customers and create new opportunities for customers, suppliers, employees and the business.
