On 3 April 2009, Graincorp Operations Limited and Cargill Australia Ltd announced that they have agreed that GrainCorp will sell its 50% share of the parties' grain accumulation joint venture Australian Grain Accumulation Services Pty Ltd (AGA) to Cargill Australia.
AGA will continue as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargill Australia. Cargill will continue to operate AGA under its current name and in its current form to buy grain and oilseeds from Australian farmers. There will be no reduction in presence or services Cargill provides to Australian grain growers.
