Cotton
Cargill established a direct cotton marketing business in Australia in 2000 when Ralli Brothers and Coney, a Cargill subsidiary, opened an office in Brisbane. Since that time the business has established a strong presence in the Australian market by servicing cotton growers with marketing tools through its Grower Service Headquarters at Goondiwindi and the network of regional agents in Queensland and New South Wales. In 2002 the business began trading as Cargill Cotton.
International cotton processors are serviced with Australian cotton through the company’s extensive network of marketing offices around the world. Cargill Cotton’s Logistics head office remains in Brisbane. Cargill Cotton is a member of the Australian Cotton Shippers Association.
